Joysa is a personal book library for iPhone. It is not an ebook reader. There is no Joysa account.
Finding or adding a book
Search looks through your library (title, author, review, ISBN), not a global store. Add a book with Add, or scan the ISBN barcode. Cover lookup uses Open Library and needs a network. A color placeholder is normal when nothing is found. You can set your own cover from Photos.
Incorrect book information or cover
Edit the book. Barcode lookup may not match your edition. Replace the cover from Photos.
Backups
Open Settings → Save library to file → Save. This keeps a copy inside Joysa. Use Share copy to export it to a location outside the app, or choose an external folder under Auto-backup to folder, such as a folder in iCloud Drive. Copies inside Joysa are removed when you delete the app. Use Restore library from file to choose a backup file or folder and restore your library.
Removing your data
Delete a book in Edit to remove it from your current library. Settings → Delete library removes the book records but keeps cover files and internal backups for recovery. Earlier backups may still contain deleted books. To remove Joysa’s local app data, including these files and backups, delete the app rather than offloading it. Delete exported files and external backup folders in Files or iCloud Drive separately. Device backups are managed in Apple’s backup settings.
